Chosen Valley Camp

This is a video that we ICT Experts made from 2009 camp to convince Leabank students to attend 2011 Chosen Valley Camp. So we hope after seeing this students might go to camp.

My Hoildays

In the holidays i went to my Grandparents place to stay with my little brother. We went shopping for food and then we went to mall I was looking for new shoes for school. Everyday we went out we had lunch outside and it was really cool. On Tuesday I had to come to school because i had 1 hour of netball practise it was nice. I had netball practise on Thursday but I didn't go because I went to my aunts place to visit her. We stayed at my grandparents for 1 week and that 1 week was AWESOME!!!!!!

Proscope

Last week the ICT experts used a Proscope. A Proscpoe is like a big magnifying glass that you turn it on and find things to put the proscope on and take pictures. It's really cool to use and fun at the same time. Once we got our we save it into our file then we went to word we had to choose a shape we play around with it when you think that you think it's done you put the photos you took with the proscope inside the shape. Then you save it in your file.

Pivot

At school we have been learning about Pivot. First we opened paint and we designed our background then we had to save it. Then we had to open Pivot first we uploaded our background then we started to made our animation and our Pivot is about changes which is our topic at school. We were allowed to make or load stuff on and move it anywhere. Our person had to grow from a baby to an adult. As ICT experts we had to show our class and teach them step by step.

cross country practise

This morning we had cross country practise.The grass was wet and cold we had grass on our shoes after practise. we will have practises on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I ran around the school more than 5 times. I got really tired when i sat down I was puffed out.

Pallavi Anand

Hi my name is Pallavi. I go to Leabank primary and this is my last year in Leabank. I am in room 16. My teacher's name is Mrs Parker she is a nice teacher.I like school alot my favourite colour is blue. I am an ICT expert for 2011 .I like it so far.My favourite sport is netball. I played for the school team last year and I want to play for the school team this year to. My favourite time of the year is June because that is my birthday month. This year I have new friends they are nice but I miss my old friends from last year. I like art and maths.
